In their latest publication, Paweł Oleksy and Łukasz Januszkiewicz present the results of their work on this issue. Their innovative algorithm can independently select the receiving antennas, the signal from which is used to determine the position of the endoscope. The researchers also proposed a new endoscope antenna that allows for a higher signal level at the receiver.
The details of this solution are presented in the article: “Oleksy, P.; Januszkiewicz, Ł. Localization of Wireless Capsule Endoscopes Using the Receiver Selection Algorithm and a Modified Capsule Antenna. Electronics 2023, 12, 784.
The Institute of Electronics has been conducting research and development work for many years, e.g. supporting people with disabilities. Therefore, we are very pleased to inform you that the Office for Persons with Disabilities of the Lodz University of Technology has purchased SmartLoop induction loops, which will provide students with hearing disabilities with comprehensive assistance in communication.
Loops can be used at each TUL Dean's Office, the lending library of the TUL Main Library and the office of the Foreign Language Center of TUL.
