We have recently purchased a new hardware for our research and educational activities. The Emotiv EPOC Flex device is a 32-channel, wireless EEG recorder. The equipment that enriches the EEG Laboratory's offer is currently used in a study on the impact of energy drinks on the time and concentration ability of the people consuming them. The B.Sc. thesis entitled "Analysis and comparison of changes in the EEG signal and heart rate variability signals recorded in response to the consumption of selected energy drinks" is carried out under the supervision of Dr. Paweł Poryzała and Dr. Aleksandra Królak.
