For authors

Authors can register here.

Please register on the website as soon as possible, this way you can be sure to receive vital email updates. We also request that you register a preliminary title for your intended paper.

The submitted papers should use the standard ICAD template: LaTeX or Word and should be blinded for review (all author names, institutions, and refernces to past papers should be removed).

We recommend the articles to be 4 to 8 pages long; however, we will accept articles up to 12 pages if they pass review. Recommended length for poster papers is 4 pages.

Extended abstract papers can be 2 pages long, but should be reserved for specific topics: recently initialized research, novel methodologies, controversial theories or unsuccessful experiments and null findings.

The authors can use color graphics, which will be visible in the electronic versions of the proceedings; however, the printed materials will be black and white, so prepare your figures accordingly (e.g. differentiate plot markers by both shape and color).

If you wish to upload any multimedia files that might be of help to the reviewers, please put them all in a separate *.zip, *.rar or *.7z archive that is under 10MB.

Presentation guide

The time limit on presentations will be 15 minutes, so we recommend preparing around 15 slides. The PC provided in the auditorium can handle *.ppt, *.pptx, *.odp and *.pdf presentations (we recommend you bring at least two formats to avoid compatibility problems). You can also connect your laptop using an VGA or HDMI cable, especially if you have a lot of multimedia files. Audio amplification will be provided using a standard mini-jack connector. Please contact the secretariat if you need any additional audio equipment.

Poster guide

Poster dimensions: 90cm max width, 110-120cm suggested length. The posters will be hung on rails (70, 80 or 90cm), so please keep in mind that the top and bottom 1.5-2cm of the poster will be clipped inside the rail.

Please bring a demo of your work if possible. We will provide tables on which you can set up laptops and speakers.

All extended abstracts authors are to prepare a poster.
