Professor Pawel Strumillo

Pawel Strumillo received the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from theLodz University of Technology(TUL) Poland in 1983, the Ph.D. degree in technical sciences from theUniversity of Strathclyde, Glasgow, U.K. in 1993, and D.Sc. degree (Habilitation) in electronics from TUL in 2002. In 2013 he was promoted to full professor. Currently, he is the head of the Medical Electronics Division in theInstitute of Electronics.

His recent activities concentrate on running projects dealing with development of systems aiding the blind in independent mobility and human-computer interfaces. Pawel Strumillo holds memberships in the Polish Society of Medical Informatics and the Polish Neural Network Society.
